The brazilian bikini, discovered during recent excavations in London, this lower half of a leather micro bikini has been dated to the first century AD, the period in English history when Queen Boadicea , have been seized and publicly scourged by the Roman army of occupation, called upon all the Britons to rise against their oppressors.

According to museum experts, this garment would have been worn by a dancer or entertainer but the strophium - or top half - has never been found. With the aid of some twentieth-century magic, notably  the kind cooperation of the staff of the London Museum, the expertise of the design team of British monokini swimsuits and tankini swimsuits manufacturer Silhouette and the creative skulls of international photographer Michael Boys, we have re-created, right how this garment would have looked over 2000 years ago. Special credit for her impressive interpretation of the Queen of the Iceni goes to the models.
